Using these basics, you learn how to familiarise themselves faster with the various branches of business administration.
You know the branches of business administration and understand how they are related and learn the basics of business administration, which you will need as business economists.

Basics of Economics
You know the similarities and differences of business economics and national economics. Furthermore, you are able to assess interactions between decisions at company level vs. market level and take these into account when answering fundamental business questions. You develop these skills by applying the explanations/hypotheses and recommendations for specific (simplified) tasks from business practice and comparing their results with real cases. Thus you gain your first basic insights into the need to take market-relevant information into account when making business decisions.
